Sharon Wolfe's Twin Sister Passes Away 


Karen "Kaye" Faust, 54, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at her home in Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, August 23, at Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines.

Kaye was born July 21, 1954 in Steubenville, Ohio, the daughter of John and Patricia (Secosky) Koniski, Sr.
Kaye was a retired Administrative Assistant for the State of Iowa - Department of Natural Resources. She enjoyed going bowling. Kaye was a member of Grace Church and she volunteered at the Annual BeaverDash Charity Run for families of SMA. Kaye was completely devoted to her entire family and will be greatly missed.

Kaye was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Koniski. She is survived by her husband, Jim Faust; son, Bud (Cindi) Faust; granddaughter, Tayler Faust; father, John Koniski, Sr.; twin sister, Sharon (Michelle) Wolfe; sister, Margaret (Tom) Demko; brothers, John Koniski, Jr. and Paul Koniski; brother-in-law, Lance (Gloria) Faust and their daughter, Nicole; sister-in-law, Chris (Dan) Wood and their children, Connie, Mike and Marsha; nephews, Duke (Regina) Dixson, Dan Dixson, Dustin Dixson and John Koniski III; nieces, Emily Demko and Patti Koniski and great nephew, Jonathan Dixson. We can't forget her loving dog, Mikey Bear.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 5-7 p.m., Friday, August 22, 2008 at Westover Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kaye Faust Memorial Fund.
